“ Delicious seafood, authentic New Mexico cuisine & atmosphere, friendly staff! What a great find - a charming restaurant right on US 62 heading north into the main part of Carlsbad. I had ceviche - asked for mixto of fish, shrimp & crab, which wasn’t on the menu, but no hay problemo. My wife had fish tacos and loved them. Both came with a nice cup of fish broth soup. The unsweetened tea in big mason jars was a hoot. No alcohol service; not sure if they are applying for a license. Only regret is that we weren’t hungry enough to try any of the seafood boils or other great dishes. Very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality. Definitely would return if I come to Carlsbad again! ”

“ Amazing seafood restaurant. We were in Carlsbad for only 3 nights and went to this restaurant twice, it was so good! The ceviche is fresh, spicy and beautifully presented. The grilled octopus was so tender and very flavorful. The staff are efficient and very friendly and welcoming. All the food is freshly cooked from scratch. We saw so many other dishes we would love to try, so we will have to travel back this way on our way home across the country. Highly recommend this place, not to be missed! ”

“ The food was tasty. We shared druken shrimp tacos, pasta with chicken, and chicken tacos. The food that was served around us looked delicious, too. I definitely would go back to try something else. The staff speaks mostly Spanish, and I had to go back into my high school memories, but it didn't hinder our experience. The pay system was also in Spanish, just so you are aware. There is even a drive-through option if you need it to go. ”

“ Second time coming here. Just as good as the first, if not better. Super authentic and delicious. The drunken shrimp tacos are delicious paired with a Mojito (virgin). Their chips and salsa that comes with the table are amazing. Service is great too. Even my Dad from Indiana, who typically only enjoys meat and potatoes loved this place. That says a lot, trust me. Best restaurant in Carlsbad in my humble opinion. ”

“ We came to this restaurant based on reviews because based on the building, we may have overlooked it. The food was good, the atmosphere was good too. It's too bad they don't serve alcohol but not a deal breaker. Most meals don't come with sides so be aware the sides cost 4.00 each and can really add up. For 3 people we paid 130 before tip but I guess it depends what you get. Not sure we would go back again, too pricey in my opinion. ”
